On World Cancer Day 2026, CMT Prooptiki had the honour to participate in the 10th Annual Conference of ELLOK, held under the theme
“Putting People at the Centre – Building Bridges of Care.”
As a Platinum Sponsor, we proudly support ELLOK’s vital role in patient advocacy and in advancing a more equitable, person-centred cancer care system. Warm thanks to ELLOK for the invitation and for fostering meaningful dialogue across policy, science, industry, and patient communities.
We actively contributed to the session “Public Health and Cancer: Challenges, Innovations and Solutions,” focusing on Comprehensive Cancer Centers (CCCs) in Greece. A key message from our discussion:
👉 Accreditation is the beginning — sustainability is the real challenge.
Long-term success of CCCs depends on clear governance and strategy, cross-department collaboration, stable resources, data-driven decision-making, and truly patient-centred care pathways.
👏 Thank you ELLOK for keeping people at the heart of cancer care.
