Years of hard work have gone into making this possible through rehoming and working closely with locals to help get their dogs neutered and microchipped.

We are a legal charity registered with the Greek courts, with a committee of 7 volunteers who all live on the island full time. Our primary focus is on the stray dog and cat populations and while there is a lot more work to do, we have started to see a big decrease in the number of dogs on the streets. Dogs that we take into our licensed shelter are never returned to the streets where it is not safe for them. Our shelter is in the charity name so there will always be a place to help the animals on the island. We see a big difference in the cat population too and have neutered over 6,000 cats in the last 5 years. We receive no funding at all from the government to date and rely solely on donations from the public in order to help the animals. Our bank and Paypal accounts are in the charity name and subject to regulations. We are tax exempt as a none profit, though still submit our accounts to the Greek tax office yearly. Please consider a donation so we can keep on with our much-needed work. Paypal - [email protected]

Rest in peace beautiful Callie. Callie went to live with Catherine and Rob in the U.K. 8 years ago today. Unfortunately she had health problems and many operations over the years. A few days ago it was all too much for her and she passed away. Thanks Rob and Catherine for giving her every chance and for loving her so much. She had 8 beautiful years with you, and we know you loved her deeply. She is now healthy and free. Thanks for the donation in her memory and our thoughts are with you both at this sad time.
