Wad Across Differences is pleased to share with you the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) "tidesofdebt." Click on the link below to view

"When will this vicious cycle end?"

Caribbean SIDS are repeatedly caught in relentless cycles of debt distress driven by climate and external shocks. The debtโ€“climateโ€“development nexus is not a one-time crisis but a systemic feedback loop.

Tides of Debt powerfully unites the voices of policymakers, civil society, and vulnerable communities to reveal the region's reality and demand justice. True emancipation in the twenty-first century requires liberation from debt dependency, fiscal instability, and climate injustice.

Stay tuned for more on socials.

The Massy Foundation has officially been launched in Guyana, expanding its regional footprint and bringing new opportunities for non-governmental organisations to access funding and support.

Established in 1979 by the Massy Group, the Massy Foundation is a charitable trust focused on investing in social and community development initiatives.

The Foundation already operates in Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados, and its expansion to Guyana signals a deepening commitment to regional development.

Through its annual grants programme, the Foundation provides financial and technical support to NGO-led projects that deliver meaningful impact across communities.

The organisationโ€™s work is centred on key areas including education, youth development, health, arts and culture, and community empowerment.

Its overarching mission is to create value, transform lives, alleviate poverty, and promote sustainable development.

Several local organisations are set to benefit from the Foundationโ€™s support, including the Guyana Girl Guides Association, Lotus Cancer Initiative, Rotary Club of Garden City, and Women Across Differences.

The launch of the Massy Foundation in Guyana is expected to strengthen grassroots development efforts and provide a timely boost to organisations working to improve lives across the country.

Today marks a special milestone!

We are thrilled to launch our Wednesday Meal Initiative for the Comprehensive Empowerment Programme for Adolescent Mothers. A nutritious meal is more than just foodโ€”itโ€™s the fuel our young mothers need to focus on their training, build community, and grow their futures.
A massive thank you to our first partner, Mr. Shon Adam of FreshPress Enterprises, and Joycelyn Rockcliffe of The Yoruba Singers Band for sponsoring todayโ€™s meal! & Juice, your generosity ensures that our participants can learn and lead without worrying about hunger. ๐Ÿฑโœจ
Together, we are building a stronger support system for the young mothers and women of Guyana.
