Tourism Resource Intellect Pool

The T.R.I.P serves to establish a network of students currently undertaking, have under taken and desire to undertake Tourism studies in Guyana (and eventually across the Caribbean) in order to develop an academic resource pool for personal achievement... In recognition of the need for tourism development, Guyana's unlimited potential as well as the many weaknesses and shortcomings the current industry faces, the development of the T.R.I.P was inspired. The T.R.I.P serves to establish a network of students currently undertaking, have under taken and desire to undertake Tourism studies in Guyana (and eventually across the Caribbean) in order to develop an academic resource pool for personal achievement and collaborative growth of Guyana and the Caribbean's Tourism Industry via the sharing of research materials for long papers and group projects, literature, meaningful discussions on industry trends on the Local, Regional and International levels.

It also serves as a launch pad to establish much needed networks with Tourism Entrepreneurs and other industry personnel who are committed to Tourism Development at the local and Regional levels. Resources used from the group for academic research MUST be properly cited. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited by the University of Guyana. Students found guilty of the act are subject to disciplinary action which is often expulsion from the University.
