EMSA Rijeka

The European Medical Students' Association (EMSA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation representing medical students from all across Europe. Founded 1990 in Brussels, it is the only voice of students within the European Medical Organisations. EMSA empowers medical students to advocate health in all policies, excellence in medical research, interprofessional healthcare education and the protection of human rights across Europe. EMSA's activities gather around six pillars: Public Healths, Medical Science, Medical Ethics and Human Rights, European Health Policy, European Integration and Culture, and Medical Education. EMSA Rijeka operates as a student organisation at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rijeka.
