I want to try and share a bit more, it’s never for lack of content (I have an overwhelming amount) that might be the obstacle + time and trying to be present 😬 just got back from a little trip in the east - played for the first time in Beijing with JiaHao my new homie! Was so cool to find there is someone like us all over the world playing dope music in a sick club 👻 I tried to see more of the city but the heat was intense, so hot we decided it would be cooler to do a Pilates class than be outside 😅managed to check the photography museum Three Shadows Photography Art Centre for an exhibition of Jiang Sun, went to the 798 art district, lost my mind eating Beijing duck, turned 38 in the club, and found some fragments of the mandarin that I had lost ❤️

By now it’s clear my Instagram game is set on delay 😬 June has passed so I made a little recap and ♋️ season has begun✨🎂

Moving is difficult but sometimes it shows you how far you have come. 👻

Found an artifact from 2016 - Very fitting EP title from a record I made 10 years ago “lost but not forgotten” on Budare 💜

2016 was also the first time I got to movement - hung out with Dave smith and his wife - saw throw it down for the first time - then he gave me his playlist 🙏🏽🤯 kraftwerk +++ too many memories to mention - still can’t believe the next time I go back I am playing 🥹

I never stopped making music - but I lost my confidence and ability to share it.. good news is I’ve been working on getting over that.

I know we aren’t always so honest on here but it’s becoming harder to keep sharing in a performative way - like it’s all so easy. no one saw the mountains we had to climb to achieve whatever people perceive to be success. They don’t see the sacrifice an artist makes with their mental/ physical health, their relationships with partners, friends and family in order to express themselves and put something into the world with the hopes to be heard, in the hopes it touches someone some way. But if you preservere and believe in yourself one day you will find yourself in places you could have never imagined. That the bio you were writing was just the beginning ✨

Since everything is going backwards here are my dates in retrograde…
