📣 Megnyílt a jelentkezés a Girls Go STEM 2026-os nagyköveti programjára!
Diákokat és tanárokat keresünk a 2026 októberétől 2027 júliusáig tartó programba. Örülnénk, ha a közösségünkből is minél többen jelentkeznétek:

🎓 Diáknagykövetnek olyan 14–19 éves lányok jelentkezhetnek, akik már elvégezték a Girls Go STEM tanulási programját. A résztvevők Európa-szerte rendezvényeken szólalhatnak fel, STEM- és vállalkozási szakemberek segítik őket havi mentorálással, emellett vezetői és kommunikációs készségeket fejlesztő workshopokon vehetnek részt. Az EIT Community hivatalos felületein is bemutatkozhatnak.
🍎 Tanárnagykövetnek olyan középiskolában vagy szakképzésben tanító pedagógusokat várnak, akik már használják a Circular Learning Space platformot. A nagykövetek európai rendezvényeken képviselik a programot, utazási költségeiket a szervezők teljes egészében fedezik. Emellett Girls Go STEM tréneri tanúsítványt szerezhetnek, és részt vehetnek egy hazai tanári hálózat kialakításában.
💡 Mi például két, félvezetőkről szóló kurzust fejlesztettünk a programhoz.

Ambassadors are the ones who carry this work into classrooms and onto stages across Europe.

✨This Thursday!✨ What if the success of a nature-based solution depends on an infrastructure we cannot see?

Behind environmental action lies a network of people and relationships: stakeholders communicating, collaborating, building trust and learning together. These connections can shape whether promising ideas become effective, lasting solutions—but they are rarely measured.

Join Daniel Teodoro, PhD, founder and director of Dialectik and a social network scientist, for:
🌿 Quantifying the Invisible Social Infrastructure in Social-Ecological Systems: The talk will explore the Social Network Performance Indicators (SNPI) framework—a science-based monitoring approach that measures learning as a function of network structure and enables comparison across different sites.
By making stakeholder networks more visible, SNPI can help us better understand how relationships, collaboration, communication and learning contribute to effective nature-based solutions.
Daniel’s research and consulting span stakeholder participation, resilience decision-making, social-ecological network analysis and transdisciplinary approaches to climate adaptation.
The conversation will be led by PHYSI’s Prof. László Pintér, and concluded by a chello musical postlude by Borbála Tamáska. 🎵

🌿 Looking for a fun learning opportunity in September?

🎓 There are still a few last minute tuition-free spots open for students in our annual International Summer University - this year organized in Catania, Italy 🇮🇹, on 15–29 September!

Hosted by our partner, the University of Catania, the “Naturation: Nature-Based Urban Regeneration” summer university will explore how urban spaces can be redesigned around green infrastructure to boost ecosystem services and community well-being.

CSI’s Attila Katona will share global perspectives on urbanization and nature-based solutions, including:
🌏 Behind-the-scenes insights from the world’s largest database, the Urban Nature Atlas, and lessons from its data
🏘 Experiences of financing transformative urban development with nature
🪙 Approaches to integrating NbS across governance and sectoral systems
📊 Scenario work using the Urban Nature Explorer, with real-time projections of costs and impacts, featuring NATURGO cases from Umeå, Sweden, and Debrecen, Hungary

One week of keynote lectures, hands-on design workshops, and site visits in Catania will be followed by a week of group work and final presentations online.
🌏Participants from Asia and Europe will tackle a real-world case study, working across the full green transition cycle - from designing resilient green infrastructure and measuring the benefits of urban nature to regenerating built-up areas and navigating policy and funding.

We're proud to share the results of WomenESEPack, an Erasmus+ co-funded project under which we developed a free sustainability course for women entrepreneurs

🟢 The project set out to solve a clear problem: women entrepreneurs across Europe face real barriers to sustainability education, from time constraints to content that doesn't reflect their business realities. WomenESEPack was built to close that gap.

The results from our Latvia and Italy pilots:
⚪ 109 women completed the free e-learning course
⚪39 workshop participants certified
⚪18 Action Plans and Flourishing Business Canvases delivered

The programme pairs a free, multilingual Udemy course (English, Latvian, German, Italian) covering the circular economy, social impact, and environmental sustainability with hands-on 2-hour workshops using the Flourishing Business Canvas and Future Radars tools.

🧡 CSI joined our partners in Bologna for three days of hands-on teacher training under the Erasmus+ project TEAMCHERS.

Over three intensive days, secondary school teachers from across Europe worked through our four-module framework - Teamwork, Explore, Activate, Manage - designed to help classrooms tackle real-world challenges through collaborative, project-based learning.

🟩 Through this learning journey, students, working as small teams, will find a challenge they genuinely care about, and design and pilot a real response to it.

TEAMCHERS is about giving teachers practical, scalable tools - not adding complexity, but making collaborative and digital learning genuinely usable in everyday classrooms.

🐾 Step by step, teacher by teacher, we're helping students become active problem-solvers.

⛱️ The school year is coming to an end - and we want to take a moment to thank the amazing teachers who brought our projects to life!

💚 Without you, our carefully prepared materials would never reach the audience that matters most: the students.

🙌 Thank you for making every lesson engaging, for sparking curiosity, and for encouraging young people to ask the questions that matter - about sustainability, about the future, and about the world they want to build.

🩷 💚 On 22 May, our team traveled to Riga, Latvia, for the WomenESEPack - marking the close of an Erasmus+ journey we are truly proud of.

At the event, we had the privilege of presenting the project's main results to partners, trainers, and European stakeholders: a piloted training programme, multilingual learning materials, and practical frameworks covering circular economy, responsible supply chains, ethical marketing, sustainable finance, and inclusive governance.

🙌 A huge shoutout to our dear team members Camille, Franci, and Zsuzsa who put enormous work into developing and refining the training materials We also want to thank our partners - Latvijas Tirdzniecības un rūpniecības kamera and Chamber of commerce of Bolzano/Bozen — for co-developing this project with us. It has been a genuine collaboration across three countries, and that shows in the results.

Interested in how sustainability and entrepreneurship can go hand in hand? The WomenESEPack training is freely available on Udemy - open to any woman entrepreneur ready to take confident steps toward a greener, more responsible business.

Happy (belated) World Environment Day! 🌍

🙌 We are looking back at the great few days at the Zöld OT (Green Civil National Assembly) 2026 in Szentendre. Our team joined conversations on citizen science, public involvement, sustainable consumption, Hungary’s new climate strategy, and water management challenges - issues that require lots of systems thinking, cooperation, and tools to unpack complexity.

Along the Danube riverfront in Szentendre, we also hosted a booth where visitors could explore our circular economy games, XR app, and toolkits from CIRCLE and EDU.CIRCULAR, and the WomanESEPack e-learning course for female entrepreneurs.

🟩 We were glad to contribute as members of the European Climate Pact, bringing educational and participatory methods into dialogue with civil organizations, local communities, and sustainability practitioners.

World Environment Day is a reminder that climate action depends not only on policy and technology, but also on learning, collaboration, and shared civic capacity.
