PeaceBox

PeaceBox is a not for profit independent organisation, formed by an international collective of artists, which creates community-based art projects that raise awareness of and explore the importance of peace. This conflict provoked the PeaceBox collective to ignite projects internationally with local artists and community members that explore why it is that in the 21st Century such conflicts still exist. PeaceBox endeavours to ask the following questions:
- What is peace?
- Where does peace start and (when) can wars end?
- Can we live in a peaceful world? Through this process the PeaceBox collective aspires to engage communities through art and open dialogue, as an antidote to the social division caused by conflicts that impact our lives.
