My artist name is Quarill (used to be known as Norman Andretti aka Quarill) and I would like to introduce myself as a Techno/House producer from Hungary. My very first experience with decks was when I was about 13 years old. At the time my musical taste was affected mostly by harder club styles which were popular back then, such as Hard-house, Hardcore and of course the compilations of the famous Thunder- and Terrordomes. I haven`t got any instrumental background, except a little drum knowledge. Since I remember I`ve been influenced by electronic music. I`ve started my producing career about 15 years ago, because I felt that I had to make something lasting for the future generations and also wanted to make the Techno scene a bit better by giving something new…so I stared using FL Studio. My first projects sounded quite amateur but all the advices I was getting then, was just enough to keep me going and keep improving. After many sent demos, I managed to get in touch with Mirzinho, owner of the legendary TechArt and Propeller Records. He was the one who gave me the first opportunity to have a release on his label (Norman Andretti – Back to business EP). After that there was no chance to stop. I felt patronised and I think that`s one of the most uplifting feeling of being a music producer. In a few months I found my way around of getting in touch with more labels and other, bigger producers of the techno scene, which I`m really proud of. Style-wise I used to play and produce Funkytechno, Hardgroove and percussive Disco Techno, but as these days we all have to keep up with the trend, hence I mostly play and make "business" Techno, Tech-House and House with a touch of funkiness. Perhaps it comes with ageing but I started to appreciate peak times and twisted melodies. As a side project, I also play a listen to various Drum and Bass styles which often appear on my podcasts. Although I'm not trained enough to make tracks in this genre, but I'm on good track of learning, so eventually one day I'm gonna get there :)
As a DJ, I have had gigs in the Checz- Republic, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary and the UK, and I will remain focused to entertain the biggest house/techno-loving nations world-wide.

Örömmel jelenthetem be, ettől az évtől 3 műsort is színesítek a Tilos Rádióban. Hamarosan Quarillként techno-zom a Gépidőben aminek különlegessége, hogy hétköznapokon napközben történik ezért látok némi esélyt arra, hogy a hangomat is halljátok. Eközben tovább pörögetem a neuro-t a Beat Safari Radio Show-ban, mint Yorinobu, illetve ha a Hotelsinus Records is megkapja az önálló műsoridejét, ott is hallható leszek alkalomadtán... és az év még csak ma kezdődött 🫶🏽

Reporting in....These 14 remixes were written 10–15 years ago, back when Hardgroove and Funkytech were really booming on a global level. They played a big part in helping me get to where I needed to be, where I wanted to be — and to travel around Europe because people enjoyed what I was doing.
So I thought I’d dig out a few of the ones that are closest to my heart and give them a fresh master, so they sound better and louder and have them re-released on my almighty Maintained Altitude Records. The Bandcamp release is coming on Monday, but they’re already up on Spotify — go check them out! ☮️Link at the comments

ACHTUNG!! Jelentem megjeletem :) Ezt a 14 remixet 10-15 évvel ezelőtt írtam, mikor a Hardgroove meg a Funkytech igazán nagyot ment világszinten. Nagyban hozzásegítettek ahhoz, hogy annak idején ott lehessek, ahol lennem kell, ahol lenni akarok és hogy járhassam Európát, mert szeretik amit csinálok. Úgyhogy úgy gondoltam előszedek párat a szívemhez legközelebb állók közül és kaptak egy új master-t, hogy jobban és hangosabban szóljanak. Hétfőn lesz Bandcamp megjelenés, de Spoty-n már kint van, tudod hallgatni. Link alább ->

So I've dusted off and remastered 12 of my old remixes and attempting to re-release them on the 30th this month on my very own Maintained Altitude Records. Hope they're gonna do just as good as they did back then. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Hey ppl of the web! Please welcome my first self released, single of the year. Many more to come, so watch this space 😉 this time, it's Techno time and I've chosen a track being the first, which's release was a long time overdue. It's available on Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Apple Music as well as on Beatport, Traxsource and on most of the large online record stores. Yet this is only a single, but since I've got tons of musics in the pipeline, there will be lot more further this year...perhaps re-relasing some older stuff which I'm about to re-master, whateva....Link to the preview is in the comment section 😉

Ahoy evibáji! Tyííí, hát jó régen jelent meg tőlem bármi bárhol, na de mosssstannnn. Megérkezett az első saját magam által kiadott szintén saját szerzeményem.
