Dance is healing 💫🧡 🍊
What’s your relationship with dance?
When was the last time you danced?
Allowed your body to be taken by the music 🎶
It’s not by coincidence that tribes dance a lot when they gather…
They actually consider it a sacred ritual
Fathers, grandfathers uncles and aunts hold that and dance all together…
Children and the women…
It’s not by coincidence that belly dancing is a part of our culture 💃
That my grandmother loved music
That when women gather and dance, they feel much lighter and feel better… all together
Dance releases emotions
And helps connect with the divine
Helps you remember what you might have forgotten
Away from stress, rush, or the mind
It’s an exercise of being in the body.
I love it so so much
Let’s dance 💃
I was vulnerable, and he had the emotional maturity to receive me.
He told me that when I shared that with him, it awakened something masculine in him. It made him want to hold me, protect me, and be there for me.
I’m not saying to open your heart and be vulnerable with every single person you meet. Your feelings are precious. Your vulnerability is valuable. You’ll feel who is safe enough to receive it.
In our case, both of our hearts were open. It gave us clarity about where we both stood, away from games, confusion, and pretending.
Life keeps showing me that when I show up honestly, the rewards are unmatched. My truth either filters people out or brings the right ones closer.

How would life feel like if you were
Authentically you
If you were yourself, moment by moment
Even when it hurts, even when it feels vulnerable
But away from masks, from performance, from people pleasing.
I do recognize these are not so simple questions my friends
I do recognize and realize how people pleasing is a deep thing that runs in our voice sometimes
When it shivers
When it wonders
When it feels pulled back
I do recognize these moments and I did have them a few times the past week …
I had to sit and take a moment and bring some deep self compassion to myself 🤍
I admited it, to myself, to my partner, and even to my friends
How very human I felt, how very “imperfect”
How human this is.
The fear or exile or alienation or judgement is real
But there is no escape from it
For even if you trimmed yourself
Even if you did anything there will always be projections, voices, or people telling you this was not right.
At the root of that is knowing thyself.
And knowing that this knowing is subject to change,
Moment by moment.
Connecting to Allah for me gives me the most refugee
The most peace
The most home.
For I know Allah loves me unconditionally
Accepts me unconditionally
And connecting to that clears allllllll the voices noises and doubts.
I connect to what’s most divine and most loving, and in these moments exactly what I need most!
Allah, thank you for allowing me to feel you, every breath,
Every feeling you is a moment of truth for me.
In an era where truth have many truths.
Connecting to you is my favorite truth.

One thing I learned is to remember what you asked for. What is your main priority in a partner? Away from what your culture, your neighbours, or society says.
What do YOU want? Remember that and ask for it.
From my experience, so many of my personal rules or what I thought I wanted weren’t what I ended up getting. I got what God chose for me.
That’s why I always say… I only wanted who God wanted for me. Not society. Not the world. Only God.
And in the end, he was the perfect husband for me. 🩵
One of the main questions you guys asked me was “How did you know he’s the one?”
My advice? Filter out who isn’t first. Trust your intuition, and whoever can’t meet you where you’re at isn’t worth your time!

Thank you they did this GENIUS campaign few years ago and chose 50 ambassadors from around the world and they chose creators based on what they STAND FOR not “how many followers they got” and I found that so refreshing …
They empowered us with advice:-
Consultants (scientists, filmmakers, rappers, even activists)
Community (a bunch of amazing like minded creators, some of us are still friends till today)
A deadline for this to come to life! (Lifeline)
And a budget to make it happen!! Wooof
This will forever be so precious to my heart as a creator they helped me say something I really wanted to say to the world!! They’re the reason I can continue to dream so big!!
I wish more brands would choose this approach
Ask creators what their dream idea is and empower them to make it and with that you win a legacy because it is honest and from the heart ♥️ and it touches people and loves for many years instead of a passing reel.
People connect with campaigns and movements that are authentic and from the heart ❤️

This show that came up spontaneously, just from how inspired I was by them🥰🥰
Recently, I'm really, really so convinced and so into observing conscious parenthood and learning from kids, how their mothers treat them😍😍😍
