A Creative Clinic. Artistic solutions to global and local issues. Our Agenda:

1. ART: Make impactful art available to communities
2.

We are a global team of artists, creatives and imagineers who dream up small-scale, innovative and creative solutions or experiences to local and global issues. We are a socially conscious initiative that uses art as a vehicle to generate solutions-based, visionary change in communities. We do this through dynamic interventions in public and virtual spaces, workshops, art tours, symposiums, creative residencies - or simply through bringing our artists' inventions and work into your lives to make them a little better and a lot brighter. ARTISTS: Make enriching opportunities available to under-served artists
3. COMMUNITY: Create solutions-based, innovative, visionary change for local challenges, that have global relevance

It's Friday, you're gonna have a b**r or a w**e to celebrate...can you add on a little extra to your Friday night bill?

If you want to help the wonderful communities in Nepal and Tibet who have been truly devastated by the impacts of climate change that they were never part of creating, The Glacier Trust is an exceptional organisation we've had the privilege to know about for years, and intersect with on a project in Nepal in 2018. They are deeply involved on-the-ground in Nepal and just launched a crowdfunding campaign to get their EcoHimal team into the field to help the post-rescue relief. The communities will be in desperate need of support in the weeks and months ahead, and I hope you will consider helping make that happen.

Does your artist statement make you sounds like an as***le? 🤣 I can’t get enough of the incredible advice being given by Kesha Bruce | Artist. Curator. Agitator. Auntie. I read endless artist statements, and this is why I drink. Follow her, follow her advice!

CALLOUT FOR CURATORS AND CREATIVES IN ASIA PACIFIC:

COP Out is a temporary curatorial collective of five curators across Asia-Pacific. We meet online for 12 weeks. We share knowledge, build trust, then make something real in our communities, all timed to COP31.

No institution required. No enormous budget. Just a group of people who are done waiting for permission and ready to knowledge-share, support, and create.

We're looking for curators who:
→ Work (or want to work) close to community (and mean it)
→ Are navigating the tension between local urgency and global frameworks
→ Are somewhere in the emerging-to-mid-career range
→ Are based across Asia-Pacific
→ Can show up, genuinely

Applications are free and close 9 June.

It’s too loud. So, we’re whispering about our new program. 06/05/2026

We went quiet for a while. Deliberately. Now, we have something to say.

We've launched "Uninvited: Made Anyway" - our 2026–27 program for artists and curators working at the sharpest edges of climate, community, and creative power.

You can read all about it here👇

And the first callout is open right now.

COP Out is looking for five curators across Asia-Pacific to form a collective, meet weekly for 12 weeks, and produce a coordinated public action timed to coincide with COP31 in November. This is about curators, creatives, and communities as genuine agents of change.

Applications close 9 June. More info and the application in the link below. 👇

As authors abandon Adelaide Writers’ Week after cancelling of Randa Abdel-Fattah, is free speech in tatters? 09/01/2026

A great article by The Conversation Global on the disgraceful decisions being made by Adelaide Festival and as authors abandon Adelaide Writers’ Week due to the cancelling of Randa Abdel-Fattah - simply for existing as a Palestinian.

Also worth noting, the board doesn't have a single artist on it.

Value artists and their voices - they are often holding the line when Boards, Directors, and Politicians aren't.

As authors abandon Adelaide Writers’ Week after cancelling of Randa Abdel-Fattah, is free speech in tatters? The decision to silence a Palestinian Australian author goes well beyond the standards of the Racial Discrimination Act and ordinary standards of free speech.
