Evening descends without haste,
wrapping the earth in a golden glow.
The wind walks gently,
as though unwilling to disturb
the leaves whispering with silence.

The sky unfolds its shades of amber,
soft, delicate, and full of grace,
while the birds return home,
carrying the weariness of the day
into the embrace of dusk.

At the edge of time, now slowing,
I sit and gaze upon the horizon.
There is nothing left to chase,
for tranquility
has already arrived
before every longing.

The evening teaches me
that peace does not always speak.
Sometimes it comes
with the whisper of the wind,
the scent of the earth,
and the sky
slowly embracing the night.

If every heart
could be as serene as this evening,
perhaps the world
would smile more often
than it would wound.
And every homecoming
would feel like returning
to a house that has always been waiting.

Swimming with You at the Edge of Sunset

The afternoon gently pours its light upon the water,
turning every ripple into shards of gold
dancing between our steps.

We swim without haste,
letting the current carry our laughter,
while the sky slowly
paints itself in shades of amber above us.

Every splash that kisses your face
is a poem I never had the chance to write,
and every smile you give
is the reason why the sunset
always longs to linger a little longer.

Beneath the calm embrace of the water,
my hand reaches for yours,
not to fight the waves,
but to remind us
that this moment is real.

As the sun sinks beyond the horizon
and the evening gently welcomes the night,
I do not wish for time to stand still.

I only hope
that with every sunset yet to come,
there will still be water reflecting the fading light,
there will still be a sky glowing with warmth,
and most importantly,
there will still be you,
swimming beside me,
toward a love that never ends.
