The Rice Joglo

A unique property of 5 Joglo Suites, made of 100% antique recycled and carved teak in the traditional Javanese style, offering an immersion in nature. The property offers panoramic rice field views from every room, just 20 minutes walk through a coconut lined street to the centre of Ubud. The property began with one beautiful antique Javanese-Dutch teak joglo, transported to the tranquil rice fields of Ubud and lovingly restored by Javanese craftsmen. The Dutch Joglo is one of its kind, and retains the original features of attic style doors, detailed fretwork and high cathedral/loft style ceilings.
