Arklow Cancer Support Charity No 18977. Arklow Cancer Support provides a safe and confidential place for a person diagnosed with Cancer and their families, providing important information and new coping skills in a non-judgmental and caring environment. You will be welcomed with a listening ear where you can share your concerns around your cancer diagnosis. Our services include: Reflexology, Art, Knitting, Crafts, Sound Meditation, Women's Group, Men's Group, Drop in Friday, Bra & Prosthesis Fitting, Lymphoedema Support information and much more. ACS offer one to one counselling/Psychotherapy & Bereavement counselling by appointment and is provided by our qualified psychotherapists and professional counsellors. Our Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist specialises in play therapy on a one-to-one basis. Our Volunteer to drive programme is one of our largest service taking clients for their daily radiation therapy to the various Dublin Hospitals. Mary's Road, Arklow

Wellness day in Wicklow helps participants live beyond cancer with focus on healing and self-care Arklow Cancer Support (ACS) has hosted another of its popular wellness days, bringing together a small group of participants for a day focused on support, reflection and self-care.

Arklow Cancer Support facilitated a truly amazing Wellness Day for our clients this morning. Deirdre Stanley, our Counsellor and Psychotherapist, opened the sessions by covering vital aspects of wellness, mindfulness, and self-care throughout the cancer journey and beyond. Georgina Radic from Humbl then gave an exceptional and deeply moving presentation on her own experience with cancer, sharing insights into her new business focused on nutritional advice, recipes, and holistic wellness. To conclude the day, Mary G Harmony Vibrations and Nassa treated the group to a wonderfully relaxing sound bath. Combined with a beautiful lunch, the day provided a deeply rewarding experience for all the ladies who attended. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this day so special.

Mens Health awareness day

We have had a fabulous morning here at the centre on Men's Health awareness day. Marie Louise Marshall demonstrated an innovative approach with Lego Serious Play "Getting out of your Head and into your Hands". Moving from over thinking to tinkering with your hands! The men really enjoyed the morning and we look forward to having many more of the same.

We had our lovely friends from Golden Circle call into the centre this morning with a presentation from their recent coffee morning raising €925.00. This is a wonderful donation and we thank you all for supporting our charity

What an achievement in honour of Stephen Murtagh's memory. Eoin and his large circle of friends and colleagues organised a huge fundraiser and donated €16, 675 to ACS this morning. This donations means so much to our charity and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
