Ballymun Recovery Addiction Community Education, (BRACEi), is a Community Response to people experiencing difficulties with Drug and Alcohol use.
Our training centre offers a range of accreditted courses to empower people and communities. The Ballymun Youth Action Project (BYAP) is a community response to drug and alcohol misuse. As a response that has come from within the community of Ballymun, we strive to reduce the negative impact of drug and alcohol use on the lives of individuals and families, and on this community. We seek to do this
On behalf of everyone connected to BRACE we would like to offer our condolences, prayers, and love to Glens family and friends as you each navigate onward without his special presence in your lives. Glen possessed a unique ability to identify dignity in those facing adversity, he understood hardship and the importance of hope. He demonstrated that vulnerability can be a powerful catalyst for connection and highlighted the profound courage that lies in tenderness and kindness. May he rest in peace.

Your commitment to strengthening addiction education and support within communities is truly inspiring. We look forward to meeting with you regularly, hearing about your experiences, celebrating your successes, and exploring ways we can continue to support you in this important role.

Many thanks Sean for the kind donation of a new office chair. We are trying to create a space in a meeting room where students can access a computer to work on Addiction Studies course assignments. Once we source a laptop, the space will be available. Thanks Sean.

Glen's funeral will be held on today at St Patrick's Cathedral at 1.30pm. The funeral will be open to the public and donations can be made to the Simon Community and Ukrainian Action. Our deepest condolesences to Glens family and his friends on this too soon tragic loss. He lifted so many people and touched the hearts of multitudes, a true son and ambassador of Ballymun.
