Max Zaska is a guitarist, songwriter, musical director, and producer best known for his band ZASKA's feel-good blend of neo-soul, indie jazz, and modern funk with collaborations featuring Irish vocalists including Hozier. ZASKA’s second album, A Better Way, draws inspiration from the current UK jazz scene, mixed with soul and R&B elements. The album is a hopeful expression of our ability to make the world better for ourselves and the next generation. It’s out on edbl recordings, the indie UK label of lo-fi/jazz artist edbl.

As you might already know, James co-produced, mixed, engineered and also featured on this track with his incredible vocals. This album would'nt be here without this octopus of a man I can't sing his praises enough. What a guy 🔥🔥🔥

NECTAR Track #5 - Wanna Go (feat. ) 🔥
One of the big influences for this album was the (._paak band) and their debut album! I love how this track kinda borrows from their very California focused sound but Gemma puts a whole twist on it with her Dublin based lyrics.
Love these lines, "nothing hits you like that summer breeze in Dublin town,
you might be cold, but it's where you feel at home the most" ❤️🇮🇪

NECTAR Track #4 - So Many Things (feat. .pyro ) 🔥
One of my fav moments of this whole album was getting to record and hang with Mik,
He is one of my idols and has been an inspiration for a whole host of Irish musicians in the soul world both as a solo artist and with Republic of Loose!
Mik's vocal performance brought this tune to a whole new level and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! One of my fav collabs ever🎸

Combining hip hop & horn arrnagements is not something ya hear a huge amount of and was so much fun getting to explore this sound with the legend jarjarjr on this one!
