And that’s a wrap on the 2026 regatta season for the club’s Junior 16 and 18 crews! A crew of Clonmel Juniors headed off Thursday to the Irish Championships at the NRC. For most of them they were part of large entries (biggest being 66) which were paired with a Time Trial giving the first 12 with best time a spot in the heats followed by finals. Clonmel did well to have three crews make semi finals with one getting to the six boat final. All rowers came away with PBs over the 2km course - they left it all out on the line and the club couldn’t ask for more then that- Well Done!!

For the weekend that was in it they battled the heat and layers of sun cream - A BIG thanks to coaches and parents for their support over the weekend and in the lead up to this event.

The Crews and coaches will take a much earned summer break and come back in a few weeks for another exciting season.
