PROUD ALUMNI | THE LOST CHILDREN OF TUAM

A very proud day for ActorsVision as The Lost Children of Tuam arrives in Irish cinemas, featuring three of our alumni – Deirdre Dunlea, Christine Terry and Alma Kickham.

We saw the film in the cinema today and were deeply moved by it. It's an extraordinarily powerful piece of filmmaking – an important Irish story told with sensitivity, restraint and humanity.

Directed by Frank Berry, written by Rebecca Lenkiewicz and cast by Fiona Weir, the film stars Monica Dolan as Catherine Corless, whose extraordinary research brought the story of the children of the Tuam Mother and Baby Home to national and international attention.

Huge congratulations to Deirdre, Christine and Alma. It's always special for us to watch former ActorsVision students continue developing their careers and see their work reach the cinema screen.

Congratulations too to Frank, the entire cast and crew, and producers Andrew Lowe, Ed Guiney, Chelsea Morgan Hoffmann, Martina Niland, Jules Daly and Liam Neeson on a remarkable and deeply affecting film.

Familiar Faces. A Landmark Play.

ActorsVision and Creators Studio presents an original play for one night only. Set in late 2000s Ireland, 'This Night Has Opened My Eyes' examines the private lives of eight characters. Exploring their multitude of issues such as intimacy, homophobia, alcoholism, erectile dysfunction and homicide.
