Let me reintroduce myself…

Hi, I’m Fernanda — the founder and maker behind WildWire.

I’m a proud Brazilian living in Cork, Ireland, creating wire crochet jewellery from my cozy home studio (usually surrounded by my husband, two boys, and three very curious dogs).

Every piece is hand-crocheted with fine wire — loop by loop — transforming delicate threads of metal into bold, lightweight statement pieces.

WildWire was born from my love of texture, contrast, and the kind of jewellery that turns a simple outfit into something unforgettable.

I design for women who:
• Love to stand out without saying a word
• Appreciate craftsmanship
• Believe bold can still feel elegant

Each piece is made slowly, intentionally, and with just a little bit of obsession.

This isn’t mass-produced jewellery.
It’s wearable art — made to be noticed.

Still buzzing over this!

Today, Sara Davies wore my Schull necklace on BBC Morning Live at the BBC. Huge thanks for the kind words and for shining a spotlight on Irish craft in such a big way.

And all of a sudden, Showcase is over. I always get the “heebie-jeebies” before a big event like this…

I had the great honour of sharing my story with from BBC Dragons’ Den. Her warmth and enthusiasm truly blew me away. Seeing her wear my Schull necklace in gold was an absolute privilege, and her kind words at my stand and on stage still have me buzzing.

It was equally wonderful catching up with the ever-beautiful , whose support never wavers. My green Meelin earrings look stunning on her, if I may say so myself!

To say I’m delighted would be an understatement. This year, two of my pieces have been shortlisted for The Edit at Showcase 2025.

The Edit highlights a curated selection of some of the finest, most innovative, and authentic products created by independent Irish producers, skilled craftspeople, and local makers. It’s such an honour to be included alongside so much incredible talent.

The countdown to Christmas is in full swing, and things have been wonderfully crazy here! Between preparing website orders, fulfilling wholesale requests, and ensuring everything is ready for the festive season, it’s been non-stop—but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’m absolutely thrilled to be featured not once but twice recently! My Ahakista Earrings were highlighted in the Irish Examiner, and I was also included in Echo Live alongside some of the incredible makers from . It’s such an honour to have my work recognised, and I’m so proud to be part of this creative community.
