Tandem Project Management Ltd. had a team event last weekend, night kayaking on Lough Hyne with Atlantic Sea Kayaking.

It was a serene experience and the team experienced the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence while moving their paddles through the water. it was a festinating sight, one they won't forget!

Last Friday, a team from Tandem Project Management Ltd. had the pleasure of volunteering at Crann Centre's accessible conservation area near Kanturk, Co. Cork.

The conservation team of Bren, Rickie, Margaret and Gerry were very welcoming, they explained the work they do, the value that it brings to children and adults with neuro-physical disabilities and their exciting plans for the future.

Being in a wheelchair, getting up close with nature isn't easy. At the conservation centre people can experience native plants, animals, fish and birds that make their home on the site.

Tandem is proud to celebrate its most recent graduate on successfully completing our Advance Graduate Programme! 🎓👏

Having joined the programme in 2024 as a Graduate Process Engineer, he has worked on a vast range of projects from design right through to commissioning and qualification.

After his presentation recapping his journey in the programme as well as an insightful lunch and learn style talk on Big Data, a group headed to the Blackrock Castle Cafe for a celebratory lunch to mark this significant milestone.

Tandem wishes to congratulate Andrew on completing the Advance Graduate Programme and thank him for his efforts and contributing to the successful delivery of key client projects. We look forward to supporting him as he progress their careers in Tandem. 🚀

Ahead of International Day of Charity tomorrow, we are reflecting on the importance of community engagement to Tandem.

Tandem has enjoyed partnering with Crann Centre for the last 3 years. Tandem has held multiple fundraising events including Crann's Walk & Roll event, running sweepstakes for the Euro's and the World Cup, cake sales, quizes and sporting challenges such as Cork City Marathon and Hell & Back. We have volunteered our time for bucket collections, bag packing, gardening (including donations of plants & bulbs), and volunteering as Santa's helpers at the very special accessible Santa's grotto.

The Crann Centre supports people living with congenital, progressive, or acquired neuro-physical disabilities across Cork and Munster. The wonderful staff there support children and adults with Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Arthrogryposis, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis.

They employ a 2Gen Model of Care, which puts family at the centre and has a comprehensive, whole health approach that includes nurses, occupational therapists, counsellors, dieticians, reflexologists, podiatrists, eduction and career mentors and play therapists. This approach enables better health & wellbeing outcomes and increased opportunities for participation in education, work and leisure for the children, adults and families who avail of services at Crann.
