As part of the Gulliver 300 anniversary, come join us on Monday 16 November at 6pm sharp for a talk about Dean Swift and the market traders in Patrick Street - 'Swift's Dublin: 'Women who Cry Apples'.

Glimpse Patrick Street as Swift walked it, hear the soundscape of his Dublin as the street traders called their wares, explore how he brought his experience of the market traders to writing verses and pamphlets, and answer the question: when is an orange not an orange?

The talk will be given by Dr Antonia Hart, Historian in Residence with Dublin City Council Culture Company.
