Last month, our OurKidsCode Family Clubs took part in the Microsoft Dream Space Showcase, joining schools and clubs from across Ireland to celebrate creativity, innovation, and digital skills. 🚀

After months of research, coding, designing, and crafting, our clubs proudly presented their projects on a national stage. It was wonderful to see the confidence, enthusiasm, and teamwork that each group brought to the event.

We are incredibly proud of all our participants. A huge congratulations to every club that took part—you are all stars! ⭐🏆

Events like these give young people the opportunity to share their ideas, learn from others, and celebrate the hard work they have put in throughout the year.

Thank you to Microsoft Dream Space and everyone who helped make the showcase such a memorable and inspiring day.

🐾micro:bit Pets Showcase!

We recently ran two creative coding workshops with groups of migrant families in Cork, with support from Nasc, the Migrant & Refugee Rights Centre

Families came together to explore coding using micro:bit, creating their own interactive “pets” by following along with our guide. It was a mix of chaotic fun, creativity, and shared learning—and the results are amazing!

Here are some of the brilliant creations made by families learning and building together 💛
