Roll up! Roll up! Witness Circus of Selves – a powerful performance which explores identity, expression, and wellbeing. 🎩🎪

Check out these photos, which provide a snapshot of ‘Circus of Selves’, created by Enable Ireland and Circus Factory Cork as part of . Enable Ireland Cork Service Owners collaborated with Circus Factory Cork to create the performance through a series of workshops, which empowered participants to tell their own stories through creative engagement and physical theatre.

On the night, Enable Ireland Service Owners showcased their work through physical performances, as well as a documentary and a display of costumes they created. The overall aim was to foster greater visibility of adults with disabilities as creatives.

Congratulations to performers Kelly Hennessy, Greg O'Brien, Laura O'Donovan and Jack Cashman; crew members Richard Fitzgerald and Jack MacFarlane, who also served as Director and Assistant Director of the documentary; and John Fahy and James Gorman, who contributed to bringing the performance to life.
The costume exhibition featured made-to-measure garments designed and produced by Sarah Kenny, Nicola Byrne and Jack Cashman.

Circus of Selves is supported through Cork City Council by the Creative Ireland Programme.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this inspiring project to life!

We all have stories to share! Enable Ireland service owners and staff celebrated this creativity and individuality when they participated in Limerick Zine Fest.

They all created their own imaginative and inspiring zines on topics from Seals to Hurling to the Mental Health of a Wheelchair User.

The annual festival is about the power of DIY culture and independent publishing. Limerick Printmakers were also there to offer everyone a chance to try screenprinting and letterpress!

Here are some of Limerick Adult Services with their zines. Including Colette Condon with her Zine on Boccia, Rebecca Hannan with ‘I Love Shopping’, Anthony Quinlivan with ‘Garden’, Deirdre Corry with ‘Seals’, and Mary Keogh with ‘Disco’.
