In honor of Juneteenth, we spent part of the day visiting the Levi and Catharine Coffin State Historic Site in Fountain City, Indiana—one of the most significant locations on the Underground Railroad.

Often called the "Grand Central Station of the Underground Railroad," the Coffin home provided safety, shelter, and hope to hundreds of freedom seekers escaping slavery. Walking through the house was both fascinating and sobering—a powerful reminder of a painful chapter in American history and the courage of those who risked everything to help others find freedom.

Levi Coffin was a member of the Religious Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers, whose commitment to equality and justice helped shape the abolitionist movement. I'm grateful for their example, their convictions, and the impact they made on history.

As we celebrate Juneteenth, it's important to remember the stories, sacrifices, and resilience that brought us closer to the promise of freedom for all.

On this day in 1952, I've Got a Secret made its television debut, launching what would become one of the most beloved game shows in TV history.

The show featured contestants with unusual secrets, while a panel of celebrities tried to guess what they were hiding. Its combination of humor, mystery, and personality made it a hit, and it remained popular through multiple revivals, formats, and hosts over the decades.

I've become a huge fan of classic game shows. There's just something special about the charm, wit, and genuine entertainment they offered long before reality TV took over. Whether it's I've Got a Secret, What's My Line?, To Tell the Truth, or Password, these shows still hold up remarkably well today.
