Update number 3 on my teeth straightening journey! 😁🦷
Retainers are in and I’m onto week 3 already. They’re nowhere near as bad as I thought they might be, no rubbing or discomfort.
But my god they’re hard to get in and out 🫣
It’s amazing how much it’s already curbed my relentless grazing of food during the day….
And obviously the gap is NOT covered with the retainers which I weirdly thought it would be… but the dentist kindly made me a little fake ‘tooth’ to pop in if I’m going to a social occasion. But it won’t fit in a few weeks time, I hope! 🤞

Round up of outfits from the last couple of weeks! One night out outfit for dinner with Georgy Dillon (hooray we escaped the house!) and 3 work looks. Who the bloody hell knows what to wear at the moment with this mental weather by the way?! 🫣 Let me know your fave!

Bearing all my weirdness today 💚 Oh and love a bit of Jamiroquai if you’re someone that scrolls and hears the audio I’ve attached to this post - anyone else a fan?! Let me know your weird bits so I feel less alone…!
Little things I do daily to help my clients stop getting in their own way.
None of these are dramatic. None of them take long.
But every single one of them has moved something that felt stuck.
The work isn’t always in the big sessions (actually it rarely is… this stuff takes a while to percolate and land!).
It’s in the small moments between them.
The question that reframes everything.
The action so tiny the fear can’t argue with it.
The voice note that arrives exactly when someone needed to hear something true.
That’s what self-belief coaching actually looks like in practice.
Save this if any of these felt like something you needed someone to do with you.
Everything in my brain and body is telling me not to post this so that’s usually a good sign to do it 😮💨
After sharing the start of my teeth straightening journey last week I sort of didn’t realise that lots of people would have opinions.
A lot of people in my community are in the health and wellness and medical fields. So of course they’re going to have thoughts 🫣
But… by the time I posted that last week I was already on the journey. I literally went from recording that first video (go back if you didn’t see it!) to the extraction. I can’t undo it.
So I have to lean in now to trusting the process. And the people I’ve committed to. And my own commitment to the steps.
This video shares the extraction aftermath (first look 😱) and then 5 days after as I waited to get started with the retainers.

5️⃣ things I learned in May.
The professional, the personal, and the slightly embarrassing 🫣
A poolside book that accidentally described my entire coaching philosophy.
A teeth straightening journey that turned out to be about self-trust, not confidence.
Nine clients at very different stages all hitting the same wall.
A little boy who still wants to be carried and a mum trying to slow down enough to notice.
And a matcha habit that may have quietly become a caffeine problem 🫣🍵
The mix of all of it is very much my May.

And tell me: what surprised you most this month? Other than the glorious weather for this time of year?! 😎

I got frustrated with a client this month.
And it had nothing to do with her.
She was doing everything right. Building, perfecting, creating. Just not the thing that would actually move her business forward.
And I caught myself thinking “why won’t she just do the thing?” before I remembered…
I’ve been avoiding finishing my membership for three months.
Different behaviour. Same fear.
That’s the thing about the protective part of your brain.
It rarely looks like hiding.
It looks like productivity.
It looks like planning and tweaking and learning and building.
It keeps you busy enough to feel like you’re working and just cautious enough to stay below the ceiling.
The questions I’ve been sitting with since that session:
What am I calling productive that is actually protection?
And…
What do I need to believe to start doing the thing I’m protecting myself from?
Because the next level isn’t always another strategy.
Sometimes it’s just being honest about what you’re actually afraid of.
