Celebrating a successful re-launch of my bathroom being in working order again ( it was out of action due to a massive shower leak which was discovered during the rewire, story for another day) By colour drenching in this deep dark shade. Are you back to work this week? Then our gorgeous Antique French Provincial writing table in the Louis XV style might be the piece for you. It’s a neat size and has a beautiful serpentine front, original ornate brass pulls and lovely carved cabriole legs. Letter of the day 7.8.26

Today’s was in a French brocante.
It was brought home and lightly refinished (by me) to bring out its original patina. It’s both beautiful and useful.

Made from wood, with brass handles, sliding tambour doors, and flexible shelves. It’s the kind of craftsmanship you don’t find often these days and the type that adds character and depth to your interior space. On the website now DM for more details

Wardrobe Mood-board Makeover:
I’m so happy with my Saturday DIY project, the wardrobe went from drab to fab in a few hours
There are still a couple of finishing touches to do: I need to put the handles back on, and I ran out of red vinyl for the side you can’t see. Those can wait for another day.
If you’re a beginner DIYer, and reasonably handy, you’ll probably find this project quite doable, although it is a bit fiddly in places!
