‘Zero Point Modulations’ has been five years in the making. It is largely a 130 / 140 BPM record. The main aim was to experiment with different genres other than hip hop; grime, dub, dubstep, but develop ways to make the production process authentic to me and my journey, which will always lie in sampling.

Once I had bottled the energy it became clear that I needed to recruit emcees to mirror the energy. No-one does 140 better than the UK, the way it gets done here is different and I really wanted to explore that…

The album brings together legends of that style but also emcees who might not be known for faster flows. It is an experiment in bringing people together, coupling energies that are both expected and unexpected, but also, exploring the many different sides of sound that I am into in order to showcase different sides of my music making…”
