Steps To Maths

Through personal experience as a maths teacher I designed Steps to Maths (www.stepstomaths.com) to help students practice mathematics at their own level.

This allows them to build up their ability in maths with a deep personal understanding. I created Steps To Maths after investigating how effective my teaching was. I found that even when my teaching was clear and my students appeared to understand the topic during the class there was often no long lasting benefit. I realised that a student needs to find their own understanding and to maximise the benefits I needed some way to provide that on an individual level like a grind. After a lot of research I developed the Steps to Maths program for my students. I have now updated this software for the web so that it can be accessed by everybody. I hope that you find it is as benefical as I have.

From a Chinese proverb I heard today:
"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.
The second best time is now." Go plant your "tree" now!
