A busy day in Dublin. 🇺🇸🇮🇪✈️

After landing earlier at Dublin Airport in Air Force One, President Trump reportedly met the Taoiseach, paid a visit to the President of Ireland… and then made one final stop at ASG.

Naturally, the real business started there.

President Trump and ASG Founder Diarmuid O’Riordan spent several highly productive hours discussing one question:

How do we “Make ATPL Theory Great Again”?

Sources close to the meeting say the President was particularly impressed by ASG’s instructors, describing them as:

“Tremendous people. Very smart. Possibly the smartest instructors anyone has ever seen.”

Diarmuid declined to confirm whether a new White House–ASG ATPL task force is being established, but did say:

“We had a very constructive discussion. There was strong agreement that ATPL theory should be great again.”

A historic day for aviation education.

Our team has now completed ASG’s 16th intensive two-week SATAC course at MRCC Dublin, continuing a training relationship that has supported hundreds of Coast Guard personnel through both initial and recurrent aviation training.

For us, this work carries particular meaning.

ASG Completes 16th Intensive Search & Rescue Aviation Training Course for the Irish Coast Guard Discover how ASG supports the Irish Coast Guard with specialized Search and Rescue training to improve emergency response.

Another milestone we’re incredibly proud of: ASG has completed its 16th intensive two-week SATAC course for the Irish Coast Guard at MRCC Dublin. Hundreds of Coast Guard personnel have now completed initial or recurrent aviation training with ASG, and we are proud to continue supporting this critical, life-saving national service.

As ASG Founder Diarmuid O’Riordan said:

This year, ASG proudly sponsored six holes, helping to support the fundraising efforts of the Classic and the invaluable work carried out by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) in communities throughout Ireland.

The Irish Aviation Golf Classic is always a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends from across our industry. More importantly, it demonstrates what can be achieved when the aviation community comes together to support those who need it most.
