I love all aspects of design. I do not remember a time when I did not think about the way things look and why they are the way they are. As a child and young adult I lived in various Countries and Cities; Peru, Switzerland (Basel & Lausanne), Cork, Dublin and London. Stayed in the Bentota Beach Hotel in Sri Lanka, designed by Geoffrey Bawa in 1967. Bawa also designed the Sri Lankan Parliament Building in Colombo. Bawa was known for his 'tropical modernism' style of Architecture.
