June McCormack

The wooden flute is at the very heart of Belfast’s trad scene 🪈

Known for its driving energy and hypnotic pulse, that signature Belfast sound takes centre stage at Flutopia, our annual celebration at The Black Box.

This year’s lineup brings together international & local as well as the next generation of players. We’re thrilled to welcome Michael McGoldrick, Sylvain Barou, and June McCormack, sharing the stage with Éimhear Flannery, Patrick Davey, and U-12 All-Ireland champion Etain Murphy. Backed by the powerhouse rhythm section of Gino Lupari, Fergal O’Brien, and John Blake, the tunes are going to be something special.

Settle in for a brilliant Monday evening of music.
