🐾💗 MEET PUDDING - A SWEET LITTLE TORTIE LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! 💗🐾

Pudding is every bit as sweet as her name would suggest… once she gets to know you! 😊

At first, this little girl can be a bit of a scaredy cat. But she has a few special comforts that help her come out of her shell, especially having a big, friendly, purring cat nearby. 🥰🐱

Once Pudding feels safe and relaxed, she LOVES to play! She’ll happily run around and have fun until she’s completely worn out, and then she’s more than happy to settle down for a long cuddle right under your chin… as long as you can keep still! 😻💕

Pudding can be frightened by loud noises, and too much activity or walking around can make her hide. Because of this, a quiet forever home without children would probably suit her best.

And if that home has a friendly resident cat? Well, that would be pure heaven for Pudding! 🥹🐾

🐾 URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR BAILEY 🐾

Beautiful Bailey, our lovely 2-year-old Collie girl, is looking for a new foster home. ❤️

Bailey has been in a foster home with the intention of being adopted, and her foster family have really enjoyed having her. However, her energy has proved to be a little too much for their resident dog, so we are now looking for a new foster home where Bailey will be a better fit.

And we have some wonderful feedback about this lovely girl! 🥰

✨ Bailey is extremely well behaved in the house
✨ She is now fully house-trained
✨ She walks beautifully on the lead
✨ She is also very good off lead
✨ She is fantastic with children
✨ She has shown absolutely no issues around their cat
✨ She is affectionate, playful, friendly and active
✨ She has shown no destructive or disruptive behaviour in the home
✨ She loves the company of other dogs, she just needs one who can handle her energy! 😉

Bailey is a typical young Collie, bright, energetic and full of life, so she needs a home that can keep her happy, active and engaged. A secure garden is essential.

As we know from before, Bailey isn’t a fan of crates or being confined in small spaces, but importantly, she has shown that she doesn’t need to be crated and has behaved beautifully in the home.

🏡 We’re really hoping to find Bailey a new foster home by the end of this week.

Bailey is currently in Co. Dublin, so a foster home within reasonable travelling distance would be ideal, but not necessary.

🌟 SUNDAY SUCCESS STORY - BEAUTIFULLY SETTLED, BODHI 🌟

A new home, a new name, and a very happy new chapter. ❤️🐾

Some of you may remember this handsome boy as Harry, but these days he goes by Bodhi - and he has settled beautifully into his forever home.

Bodhi is getting on wonderfully with Percy and is, in his adopter’s words, living his best life. 🥰

His days are full too! He heads out three times a day, his training has begun, and he gets plenty of enrichment to keep that clever mind busy. 🐾

But judging by that very cosy sofa photo, Bodhi has also mastered the important art of putting his paws up and relaxing at home. ❤️

Most importantly, he’s happy, settled and very much loved. And apparently his family aren’t the only ones who have fallen for him - everyone who meets Bodhi loves him. 🥰

It’s always special seeing a rescue dog settle into their new life, finding their routine, building new bonds and becoming part of the family.

Harry became Bodhi, and Bodhi found exactly where he belongs. ❤️🐾

Have the happiest life, Bodhi. We hope there are many more adventures, new things to learn, cosy naps and wonderful days with Percy ahead. 🥰

🐾 FOSTER HOMES NEEDED ❤️ 🐾

We are looking for foster homes for dogs in our care and on our waiting list.

A foster home can make an enormous difference to a dog. It gives them a safe, loving environment while we get to know them better, understand what they need, and work towards finding their forever home.

We currently need foster homes for:

🐶 Floss – a little shy but very friendly. She enjoys a calm walk and is good on the lead. She doesn’t seem to enjoy too much noise or chaos.

🐶 Glen – a very shy but incredibly sweet boy. He is very calm and loved his toy, immediately starting to play with it. We haven’t had the opportunity to walk him on the lead yet.

🐶 Lucy – another little sweetheart. She was curled up asleep in her bed when we arrived but was very happy to see us when she woke up. She is deaf though and needs to be handled accordingly. ❤️

🐶 Carlo – a 2-year-old Collie currently on our waiting list and in need of a foster home.

🐕 ALSO BEARA LOCAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Three of the dogs, Floss, Glen and Lucy are currently in kennels in Beara (P75 EA02) and would really benefit from some extra activity, attention and time outside their kennels while they wait for foster homes.

We’re looking for volunteers who could visit regularly, walk the dogs where appropriate, spend some time getting to know them and help us assess their personalities. If you’re happy to take some photos too, that would be a huge help for their social media profiles and finding them homes. 📸🐾

⚠️ Please do not just turn up at the kennels. You must contact us first so we can arrange suitable times and provide the necessary contact details.

This is a very difficult decision for her family, who are heartbroken to have to let her go due to changed circumstances. 💔 They want to make sure Luna finds the right home where she will be loved and cherished.

🐾 URGENT FOSTER APPEAL – TWO LOVELY MALE CATS 🐾

We urgently need a foster home for two wonderful male cats, Felix and Jordan. ❤️

Both boys are indoor cats, fully vaccinated and neutered, and they are very bonded friends. Ideally, we would love to find a foster home where they can stay together.

🐱 Felix – 9 years old
Felix is a gentle, initially timid boy who takes a little time to trust new people. Once he feels comfortable, his lovely personality really comes through. He enjoys snuggling up beside you on the couch and playing with his toys. ❤️

🐱 Jordan – nearly 2 years old
Jordan is a super-friendly, affectionate and playful young cat. He is very comfortable around new people and loves plenty of play, attention and activity.

The two boys are great friends and have been loved and cared for. Due to a change in circumstances, their current home is no longer suitable for keeping them indoors, so we urgently need to find them a safe foster placement within the next 2–3 weeks.

The current owner would ideally like to be able to take them back in the future when a more suitable home becomes available.

With her gorgeous brown & white coat, Peppa is certainly a head-turner 😊 But this lovely girl has so much more to offer than her beautiful looks!

Peppa is a 1-year-old Collie/Labrador mix who is proving to be a very clever girl indeed. 🥰 While in her foster home in the UK, she’s been busy learning all about boundaries, manners and listening to her humans, and she’s doing brilliantly!

✨ Her recall is already coming along really well
✨ She’s a superstar at sitting on command
✨ She’s learning that not every jump is allowed and that sometimes we need to sit quietly and wait
✨ She responds wonderfully to treats and is picking up new rules quickly
✨ She’s brilliant around people and objects
✨ When asked to leave something, she’s happy to walk away calmly
✨ And she has pretty much aced her lead training! 🐕💨

Peppa has clearly never had many boundaries in her life, but she’s showing just how much potential she has now that she’s getting the guidance she needs. Her foster mum describes her as an amazing dog with loads of potential, and we couldn’t agree more. ❤️

This bright, beautiful girl is ready to continue her journey with someone who will give her the patience, consistency, love and guidance she deserves.

And when it comes to feline friendships, these two are big fans! 🐱🐱 They absolutely love the company of other cats, after all, what better opportunity is there for some fun, mischief and playful times?

They also seem to firmly believe that having a feline friend is much better than being the only cat in the house… and we can’t argue with that! 😻

Their wonderful foster mum has also been helping them get used to all those strange household noises, the dishwasher, washing machine and other sounds of everyday life. They’re making great progress! 👏

They’re still not convinced about the hoover, though… but honestly, can you blame them? 😉😂
