It was a fantastic weekend for , with their ladies footballers capturing the Tel Lab Senior Football Championship title thanks to a 3-11 to 0-7 victory over Bennekerry/Tinryland, while their men’s team also enjoyed success by overcoming Éire Óg in the senior football semi-final.

Following the game, our commentator Donal Nolan spoke with analyst Maria Kinsella about the significant contribution both clubs have made to the Carlow senior panel and the outstanding service those players have given to county football throughout 2026.
