Kia Optima DCT Gear Issue Solved ✅

This Kia Optima came in after losing the odd gears — 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th — while the even gears were still working.

The customer had been advised elsewhere that the clutch needed replacement, but they came to us for a second opinion.

After inspection, we found the real issue: the clutch actuator controlling the odd gears was jammed.

The actuator was removed, professionally disassembled, cleaned, repaired, reinstalled and checked. Both actuator rods were confirmed aligned correctly with no play/jam remaining.

We then completed clutch programming and relearn, and the car is now driving smooth again.
