Some good rugby over the weekend with the start of the underage fixtures.

Thomond RFC would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the O’Loughlin family and to everyone at Shannon RFC on the very sad passing of Cormac O’Loughlin.

The O’Loughlin family are well known to many within Thomond. Cormac’s brother Fiach played with our club, and the family were regular and always welcome visitors to Fitzgerald Park during that time.

The loss of Cormac will be deeply felt throughout the Limerick and wider rugby community, and at this very difficult time our thoughts are especially with his wife Michelle, his daughter Abbie, his parents Brigid and Gerry, his brothers Fiach and Ross, his sister Sinead, and all of his extended family and friends.

We also extend our deepest sympathies to our friends at Shannon RFC, where Cormac and the O’Loughlin family have such a proud and longstanding association.

Thomond Rfc would like to send our heartfelt condolences on the tragic passing of Robert Duggan. Robert is the son of our Junior Cup winning captain Robert, brother in law of former AIL player and current underage coach Jonathan Ryan and uncle of underage player Sean. Our sympathies go out to all the extended Duggan and Hynes families. May he Rest in Peace

Hard luck to the St Mary's/Thomond/Richmond U15's who went down to a strong Nenagh team today. Heads up boys.

The U13's started their Development league campaign with a win against Nenagh. Well done lads and best of luck to Nenagh for the remainder of the season.

Great battle in tough conditions with our lads just coming up short. Onwards and upwards for the rest of the season.
