David Kitt today releases The Big Romance (Kittser’s Version), a newly reimagined edition of his landmark debut album, celebrating its 25th anniversary. The album is available now on vinyl, CD and digital via All City Records.

To mark the anniversary, Kitt will perform The Big Romance in full across two special shows at the National Concert Hall this week, joined by an all-star band featuring Dylan Lynch, Rachael Lavelle, Katie Kim, Ryan Hargadon, Paul G. Smyth, Eamon Brady and Gareth Averill.

A traditional Irish folk and ballad band, The Kilkennys are noted for their dynamic arrangements, energetic performances and charismatic rapport with audiences across the globe.

Picking up the mantle left by acts such as The Dubliners and The Clancy Brothers, the group continue to conquer tour circuits in Europe and the U.S.A. In the past years The Kilkennys have shared the stage with renowned Irish artists such as Shane McGowan, Sharron Shannon and Finbar Furey. Continuing their hectic tour schedule 2016 saw the band perform on the main stage at Milwaukee Irish Fest - the largest Irish Festival in the world.

Le Boom are Irish brothers Andy and Christy Leech, an electronic act known for theirvimmersive live shows that sit somewhere between a gig, a rave and a house party. Instead of performing on a stage, they play from the floor in the middle of the room, surrounded by the crowd. With Christy and Peter Fleming building the music live and Andy’s spoken word cutting through the tracks, the audience becomes part of the show rather than
just watching it.

Over the past two years, Le Boom have built a loyal grassroots following through their secret Gael Rave events and dedicated WhatsApp communities. What began as a handful of intimate nights has grown into a community spanning Ireland, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, with pop-up events in Glasgow, Liverpool, London and beyond.

Musically, Le Boom draw as much from trad, indie and spoken word as they do from electronic music. Their songs move naturally between Irish and English, reflecting the bilingual community that’s grown around the band. Recently Le Boom have seen support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Sarah Story and Jaguar, sold-out headline shows including London’s Unlocked in Shoreditch, and a growing run of independent releases.

More than anything, Le Boom have become known for creating nights people want to come back to. Through word of mouth, WhatsApp and a live show built around connection, they’ve built a community that feels as important as the music itself.

"Rebel Rebel" are a 6 piece (nine piece for larger gigs) tribute to David Bowie, faithfully recreating the most popular songs from Bowie’s extensive back catalogue.

The band themselves are fans and have a deep respect for the man and his music. The set for this show is built on Bowie's most loved and enduring songs and the band have worked hard at re- creating the sound and look of a David Bowie concert.

Lead singer Peter Quinn has always had his voice compared to Bowie’s. “I released an album of original material and it was instantly compared to Bowie. It was something I had been told from the time I recorded my first demo tape, so when I was looking for a new project a Bowie tribute was the obvious direction.”

Huartan's mission is to connect contemporary audiences with the oral singing tradition and native language of Ulster!

Formed in 2023, Huartan’s original blend of Irish traditional music and electronica have quickly earned them recognition, including the BBC Introducing NI Artist of the Year and the 2024 NI Music Prize Live Act of the Year. Through bold reinterpretations of at-risk Irish language songs, their mission is to connect contemporary audiences with the oral singing tradition and native language of Ulster.

Emerging from the Gaeltacht quarter of West Belfast, Huartan is formed by three Irish traditional musicians – Catriona Ní Ghribín, Múlú, and producer Stiofán Ó Luachráin – alongside masked performers embodying the síogaí (fairy folk). As Hot Press write, Huartan are “one of the key voices in a realignment of modern Irish music and culture”: rooted in decolonial and anti-capitalist ideals, their otherworldly live shows channel a mythic pre-Christian Ireland. In 2026, the band will be touring their self-titled debut album, featuring Gaeilge songs injected with “urgent, pulsating electronica” (Hot Press) and described by Chordblossom as “one of the most visionary albums from 2025”.
