The Finger-bar meadow mower has been a seller for us over the years, mostly sold to the Western, costal counties for holiday homes, clearing access to lakes & clearing areas unsuitable for sit-on machines. Manufactured in Italy for the Germany brand, Al-Ko. The 'mower is available to order from -power.

We are open for business as normal, tomorrow Friday 3rd. of April (Good Friday). Closed Bank Holiday Monday 4th.. Re-Open 9 am Tuesday 5th. Enjoy you weekend.

We will be closed this Friday 27th. due to the passing of our aunt Evelyn, our father Victor's sister.

Myth: “My battery was fine yesterday, so it’ll be fine today”

Reality: Cold weather can change that overnight & we are now starting (no pun intended) to see customers with battery issues in their garden machinery & Quad bikes. Naturally we have replacements in stock at Mower-Power.

As temperatures drop, your battery’s available power drops with it. A battery that starts your car without issue one day can struggle the next - especially after a cold night.

That’s why winter battery problems often feel like they come out of nowhere. In reality, the battery may already be weakened, and cold temperatures simply push it past its limit.

Short journeys, stop-start driving and increased use of heaters, lights and heated screens during winter all add extra strain, making it harder for your battery to recover between trips.

If your battery is a few years old, it’s worth getting it checked before colder weather catches you out. A quick battery health check at your local workshop can help spot potential issues early and keep you moving this winter.
