Kudos again to Marcella McGrath who is most faithful to 'Faithful County' as she was 2nd woman in the ‘Rhode’ 10K in Co. Offaly Friday last in a time of 43:30 👏🦘 .

In the Lahinch Half Marathon in the Banner County Declan Kennedy was first Limerick man clocking 1:26:55 for 7th place overall. Willie Gorman also broke 2 hours. 👏

Gillick hoping Parkrun continues to bring people together Twice European Indoor 400m Champion (2005 & 2007), current Irish record 400m holder, Olympian and VHI Couch to Parkrun Ambassador David Gillick comes to Limerick Parkrun at UL this Saturday

The XC season got off to a good start this weekend for Dooneen. Ella Grace Osbourne was
2nd in the U18’s at the Castlegar XC Open held at Galway Racetrack. The competition was very enjoyable and well organised.

Dooneen AC wishes to congratulate our neighbours at Mungret Parkrun who turned 8 last weekend🎂

Also to Declan Kennedy who completed his 100th Parkrun at the said venue yesterday and was 2nd overall in a time of 19:26 👏.

Niall Harrris was 1st finisher at UL yesterday in 18:34 just ahead of Dooneen clubmate Brian Ahern 2nd in 18:39.- A notable 7th in 20:27 was twice European 400m Champion David Gillick, there as part of the VHI Couch to Parkrun roadshow,

Club veteran Audrey O’Sullivan ran well to finish in 25:26 👏

We hope to see a many of you as possible at the County Senior and Intermediate Cross Country in Bilboa next weekend 🙂

🌏Down under in Melbourne last Saturday Andrew McMahon was 3rd overall in the "Yarra Boulevard" Half Marathon a time of 1:20:29. Australia 🇦🇺🇮🇪🦘

Will enhance Track and very importantly -Field' Athletics infrastructure for the wider Limerick city region.
