This is something I really want students — and parents — to see.
My online classes are not simply an hour of me talking while students sit and listen.
They are interactive. Students are encouraged to answer questions, give opinions, work things out, make mistakes, ask questions and, most importantly, use their French.
🇫🇷 In this lesson, we were working on the topic of Fast Fashion — developing the vocabulary, ideas and French that students can actually use in the Leaving Cert exam.
For me, learning French is about much more than learning notes off by heart.
It is about helping students become confident enough to understand the language and use it for themselves.

Leaving Cert Higher Level French – Online Weekly Classes 🇫🇷
Are you looking for structured, expert support with Leaving Cert Higher Level French?
French Notes online classes are designed to help students improve their French, strengthen their exam technique and build confidence across the key areas of the Leaving Certificate course.
Students can choose the class time that suits them:
Wednesday evening — 6:30pm
or
Sunday morning — 9:00am
€30 per week — simple weekly payment
There is no large term payment upfront. Students pay €30 per week, and the weekly payment can be cancelled at any time.
For €30 each week, students receive:

🇫🇷 Does your child seem to know what they need to do for French — but struggle when they have to actually use the language?
This is something I see regularly with students in 3rd Year, 5th Year and 6th Year.
They may recognise vocabulary and grammar when it is in front of them, but when they have to answer a question, understand a listening piece, translate a sentence or write independently, the language can suddenly become much harder to retrieve.
That is why my online French classes are not lecture-style classes where students simply sit and listen.
Students are actively involved throughout the lesson. They:
✅ answer oral questions
✅ read French aloud
✅ complete listening comprehension
✅ translate sentences into French
✅ practise grammar and key structures
✅ retrieve previously learned vocabulary
✅ correct mistakes and try again
The aim is not simply to give students more notes.
It is to help them become more confident at using French independently.
