Every Good Friday, a massive clean-up day in both Limerick City and County takes place, making Limerick a cleaner place to live.
On Good Friday, a massive clean-up day in both Limerick City and County will take place. Team Limerick Clean-up or ‘TLC’ and event patron, Paul O’Connell invite you to join up and help make your community a spotless place! Sponsored by the JP McManus Benevolent Fund, the TLC initiative will be co-ordinated by Limerick County Council and it is hoped that as many people as possible will get together for few hours on Good Friday to collect and recycle litter. Getting involved is quick and easy, simply download the registration form on www.teamlimerickcleanup.ie or call 061 496200. You can also access our information pack and get some great tips for collecting litter as well as downloading an event poster to distribute in your area. The TLC initiative is supported by Mr Binman, the Limerick Leader, Limerick Post and Live95F.

TLC is delighted to launch this year’s ‘Decorate a BIG Christmas Tree’ Competition for Limerick primary schools in collaboration with Crescent Shopping Centre 🎄
The competition is a fun, creative class project with an important message: helping pupils learn about sustainability, biodiversity and protecting our environment 🌱
All trees will be on display in the Crescent Shopping Centre in December and we can’t wait to see your creative designs! Thanks to the pupils from Le Chéile NS and Our Lady Queen of Peace National School for joining us last week.
