Monaghan Federation ICA

Here are photos an information from Table Quiz.
Well done to Magheracloone for winning the Federation Table quiz. There were 7 teams in total and there was only a couple of points between the winners and runners up, Rockcorry. Other guilds who participated were Ballinode, Monaghan Town, Clones, Aghabog and another Magheracloone team. Many thanks to Magheracloone for hosting this event and for providing a lovely supper.
The raffle was won by Geraldine McKenna, Deirdre McCormack and Ann Marie Connolly. The Magheracloone winners were Joan Conlon and Patricia Doherty.

Thanks to everyone who joined us this afternoon in welcoming our Federation President Irene O'Brien to the guild. Irene brought us right up to date with upcoming ICA events and new competitions and told of her experience appearing and promoting ICA on the Today programme on RTE 1 last Friday afternoon. Thanks also to Bernie, Kathleen and Geraldine who displayed their recent work and to hostess Josie for the very welcome refreshments.

Monaghan ICA were asked to showcase Ireland at the recent Cultural Event, organised by the Rotary Club and Lion's Club, Monaghan.
Countries that participated were Uganda, Congo, Thailand and USA.

Great day at an Grianán. Meath won the garden competition, but all 6 entries were worthy of a mention.
The Meath garden featured a rose bush for every Guild along with a good range of other flowers

Just a reminder everyone.

A few more photos from Saturday's trip, for ladies from Scotshouse and Clones Guilds. A good time was had by all!
