The Raharney information page

We received some messages regarding the electrical issue. Raharney over the bridge has no problems but looked up and there is a problem on Raharney road towards killucan. Please see attached

Awareness for dog owners

We live in a busy village outside Mullingar. This morning we happened to be outside with our dog when a car went by our gate, we could hear the sound of a dog toy and when we looked we could see three men in a car go by our gate with a pig toy out their window. Our dog was brought to the attention of it and so were we. What we think happened is because we have that same toy that potentially they came in to our garden and took our dog toy “he was multiple of them scattered all over the garden” and was going to use it as bait to get him into the car. We can not find that toy now in our garden now. We of course have kept our dog in because only a few weeks ago a dog that looked like him went missing close to our area. We just wanted to make awareness of this and to keep your pets safe. We weren’t fast enough to see a reg on the car but it was a blue small car and it looked old and there was three males in it. If anyone has any suggestion on what we could do, please let us know as I know this is very vague information to go by but still a very scary incident to think what might have happened if we weren’t outside at that time.

🚨 URGENT – STOLEN QUAD 🚨

A quad was stolen from outside a farm gate in Killeenmore, Killeigh at approximately 5:20pm this evening.

Two lads were seen travelling on the quad heading past Glenisk in the direction of Ballinagar.

If anyone in the Ballinagar area or surrounding areas has seen the quad, or noticed anything suspicious around that time, could you please get in touch with the owners or contact An Garda Síochána.

Please share this post and keep an eye out. Any information or sightings, no matter how small, could be very helpful.
