This demonstration will be of particular interest to professional woodworkers, cabinet makers, kitchen fitters & furniture producers amongst others.

With two machines set up for you to try on the day (including the hand held and table mounted versions for doing long plinths & drawer faces) it is a fantastic opportunity to see the KA 65 in action.

Join us this Saturday 26th September (10am - 2pm) for an exclusive Sharpening event!

Using the Tormek Water Cooled Sharpening Systems Noel will show you how to get a perfect & repeatable edge on your tools.

Both the T8 and T-4 models will be in operation & we will also demonstrate the Tormek bench grinder conversion kit on a slow speed bench grinder, showing you how to apply the Tormek sharpening system to a regular grinder.

Demonstrations will cover Bench Chisels, Plane Irons, Carving & Woodturning Tools and knives!

Attendees can also enjoy event only discounts on Tormek machines, jigs & accessories purchased or ordered on Saturday 26th September.

The Celtic Stickmakers Club are holding another workshop on Saturday 26th September 2026, 10am - 2pm upstairs in The Carpentry Store featuring the skills of carving, jointing, stick bending and pyrography. Come along and find out more about this wonderful country craft. Entry is Free and we will have Tea & Coffee.

At this workshop Celtic Stickmakers Club would like to give people the opportunity to create their own stick by providing shanks and heads, and under the supervision of experienced Stickmakers put them all together and leave with a new perspective on this craft.

Founded in 2006, the Celtic Stickmakers Club has members from throughout the island of Ireland, and is growing all the time and is dedicated to promoting traditional stickmaking and to sharing skills, ideas and techniques to those beginning and experienced stickmakers alike. Over the day students will hone their skills by working on a tonal chart & a project that you can select with your tutor on the day or you will be welcome to bring your own project idea with you.

A place has just opened up on our Two Day Routing Course taking place this Friday 10th- Saturday 11th July , 9.30am - 4pm.

This course offers lots of hands on experience in using the router safely and selecting the right cutters & jigs. There will also be an opportunity to use the Router Table & Dovetail jig as each student work towards making a panelled cabinet door.

Cost is €369 & all equipment, materials, lunch & refreshments are provided over the two days.

We have a One Day Marquetry Course coming up in The Carpentry Store, Naas on Saturday 27th June 2026 from 9.30am - 4pm.

Instruction is with Seamus Cassidy who’ll safely guide you through all the essential turning techniques required to create several take home projects. Examples include garden dibber, two part candlestick, bowl & if time allows an egg cup.
