From farm to fork, the Meade family grows, packs and distributes premium fresh produce to retailers nationwide.
In addition, our sustainability journey has led us to develop gluten free food grade potato starch, a thickener for sauces and crispy frying. While we specialise in growing potatoes, carrots and onions, we source the full range of fresh produce from our team of growers both here and abroad. We are fully committed to providing excellent quality and premium service, backed by a sustainability programme that is robust and innovative.
Next time you’re making roast potatoes, try leaving the skins on. You’ll get that crisp finish, along with more fibre. And here’s a fact you might not know: potatoes themselves are naturally gluten-free.

With National Potato Day coming up this Friday, we’re sharing a little dinner inspiration to celebrate.
Golden potatoes, tender chicken, broccoli and mushrooms, baked in a creamy sauce with a Parmesan finish. A comforting potato chicken bake for everyone around the table.
Serves four. Swipe for the ingredients and method, and save it for later.

We’re delighted to receive Origin Green Gold Membership again this year.
Gold Membership recognises the progress we’ve made across our sustainability programme — from investing in renewable energy and biodiversity, to supporting increased Irish-grown organic produce, reducing waste and donating surplus food through our charity and gleaning programmes.
It reflects the hard work of our teams, growers, suppliers and community partners, and motivates us to keep improving how we grow, pack and supply fresh produce.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make it possible.

HELP US NAME OUR CALVES
The next generation of the Meade family recently met the newest generation at Meade Dairy Farm—three female Fleckvieh triplet calves, an incredibly rare occurrence estimated at around 1 in 500,000.
Born during the same weekend as Katie Taylor historic fight, one has already been named Katie. We were also delighted to welcome Katie’s husband, Sean McCavanagh, to the dairy farm during their stay at Parsonstown Estate - Luxury Retreat
That leaves two calves still waiting for names—and we need your help choosing them.
Comment below with two name suggestions for Katie’s sisters.
