European Week of Sport 🎉

➡️ We were honoured to attend the EU Presidency Conference on Traditional Sports and Games at Croke Park this week, where we joined a panel discussion on the importance of collaboration in sport and the significant progress made in disability sport in recent years.

Active Disability Ireland CEO Brenda O’Donnell joined Sport Ireland’s Ger McTavish and Paralympics Ireland’s Neasa Russell to discuss how organisations working across disability inclusion in sport can collaborate to create pathways for growth for people with disabilities.

➡️ Delighted to join the opening ceremony to kick off European Week of Sport in the National Indoor Arena. We encourage our community to join the movement and get active and involved in the inclusive sport initiatives taking place nationwide.

Creativity meets activity 🎨🤾🏽‍♀️🏓

Our Active Healthy Me participants recently put their creativity to work for our colouring competition, using drawings and colours to show what sport and physical activity mean to them.

We were blown away by the volume of submissions, and proud to have them displayed at our Active Disability Services Awards.

Thank you to all who participated 💚
