Now they are back for Púca Festival 2026. . We captured this at last year’s event in Trim Castle Hotel .
We can’t wait for another epic performance.
When silence prevails, local man Johnny Fagan joins the trad session at Mc Cormack’s Pub Trim Ireland
It’s moments like this that make Trim what it is…. music and stories, old and new, and people simply enjoying themselves.
Join us for the session. 🎶 any pub , any night !

Beside Trim Castle, the Boyne Valley Twinning Plaque celebrates a friendship across the Atlantic.
What began in Trim in 2017 developed into the official twinning of the Boyne Valley, Ireland and Boyne City, Michigan in 2019. Recognised as Ireland’s first regional twinning, the partnership brings regions together through education, tourism, business and culture.
The beautiful plaque was created by EJ USA, who have a base here in Birr, Co. Offaly.
As our friends across the Atlantic celebrate Labor Day today, we’re taking the opportunity to celebrate a friendship that connects the Boyne Valley with Boyne City, Michigan. 🇮🇪🇺🇸

🇮🇪🇮🇳 Trim welcomes Ireland India Day 2026!
What a wonderful day in Trim as we welcomed Ireland India Day 2026 to the town, bringing together two rich cultures in a celebration of friendship, community, heritage, business and opportunity.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of Trim Castle, this year’s theme, “Bridges of Heritage, Gateways of Trade”, felt particularly fitting — connecting Ireland and India through culture, education, enterprise, tourism and the shared experiences of our communities.
For Trim, it was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our town and the wider Boyne Valley to visitors from across Ireland and beyond, while celebrating the growing contribution of the Indian community to life in Ireland.
From music and dance to food, business and cultural exchange, there was a real sense of energy and connection throughout the day.
A huge congratulations to the Ireland India Council and everyone involved in bringing this special event to Trim, and to all those who helped make the day such a success.
