After a strong start last weekend, our J1s and J2s make the trip to Drogheda today to take on Boyne RFC this afternoon.

The Leinster League fixtures for our Men’s J1 and J2 squads this season 🏉

With two impressive wins last Saturday, the lads prepare for the first away day of the season to Boyne this Saturday.

📣Men’s Captains for 2026/27 Season 📣

Colm Heffernan (J1s):
Colm has been a mainstay in the Back Row for ours 1sts since returning from Shannon RFC in 2022. Colm brings a wealth of leadership & experience from his time in Limerick and will have benefited from his time with the Leinster Juniors during their interprovincial run last summer.

Tadhg Dowdall (J2s):
Another Teak Tough back row player, who continues to build on a great reputation forged at underage level in TRFC. At 21, and already assumed 60+ adult team appearances, the Tyrellspass native is ready made to lead from the front for the J2s this season.

Colin Draper (J3s):
Colin resumes the role of 3rd team captain for the 3rd year and will be looking to help his group build on 4 Metro League promotions in as many years. With many of last years squad having moved up or moved on, he can look forward to a bit of a rebuild with the new coaching & management group of Ian McGlinchey, John Connolly & Mark McGrath.

Our adult men’s teams train every Tuesday & Thursday at 7.25 with new players always very welcome. 🤝

Midlands League Champions⚫️🛑

Newly appointed Club Captain Colm Heffernan got a chance to lift the Midland League trophy today after last Saturdays final win over neighbours Mullingar.

Colm led from the front this afternoon as the J1s recorded a win in Round 1 of the Leinster League against Suttonians.

Tries from Cathal Farrell (2), Eoin OCarroll & Harry Grant along with 4 conversions from the reliable boot of Conor Dunne gave Tullamore at 28.7 Bonus Point win.

Congratulations also to our J2s who recorded a 61.5 victory over the same opposition. 👏

Our J1 and J2 men get their campaigns underway today as we welcome Suttonians to Spollanstown.

The Tullamore Senior Ladies welcomed Mullingar to Spollanstown on Sunday for the opening round of the Midlands League, with perfect conditions making for a great afternoon of rugby.

From the very first whistle, the Tullamore ladies were on the front foot, playing some excellent rugby and working brilliantly as a team.
The girls kept the pressure on from start to finish to come away with a fantastic 43–0 win over Mullingar.

We’re delighted to welcome all our mini players back for the new season!

Training kicks off on Sunday 20th September for boys and girls born in 2015–2019.

New players are always welcome, so come along, get involved and give rugby a go.

Well done to our mighty Tullamore Tigers who enjoyed a blitz up in Barnhall on Sunday afternoon. The team showed great skill & teamwork, winning 3 games out of 3. The look forward to a blitz in Garda RFC next weekend.
