On May 18th, the Formula Technion team had the distinct privilege of attending the International Smart Mobility Summit. Bringing together global leaders, innovators, and visionaries, the summit offered an unparalleled look into the future of transportation and automotive technology.
As a multidisciplinary team of engineering students from the Technion, experiencing firsthand the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, electrification, and autonomous vehicle systems was profoundly inspiring. Bridging the gap between our academic studies and the forefront of the automotive industry is crucial as we continuously strive to optimize our race car’s design, manufacturing, and overall performance.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the organizers for hosting such an exceptional gathering. Furthermore, a sincere and special thank you goes out to every industry professional, engineer, and representative who took the time to meet with us during the event. We deeply appreciate your willingness to share your technical expertise, discuss the intricacies of modern mobility, and explore meaningful avenues for academic collaboration and sponsorship.

Next week, Formula Student teams will undertake the official quizzes, which assess their knowledge of competition rules, safety requirements, and technical regulations.
These quizzes are a critical component of the process and directly influence which competitions each team is eligible to attend.
Strong performance demonstrates a team’s understanding of the regulations and readiness to participate at the appropriate events.
