Musalaha, which means “Reconciliation” in Arabic, was founded in 1990. You want to join us? We would love to hear from you.
Musalaha, meaning “reconciliation” in Arabic, is a faith-based organization that teaches, trains, and facilitates reconciliation between diverse ethnic, religious, and social groups, drawing on biblical principles and indigenous practices. Since its creation, an Executive Board of Palestinian and Israeli community leaders have led this organization by promoting, facilitating, and teaching reconciliation and unity within our society and internationally. Our internship programs in Research and Publications, Communications and Group Activities are always open for applications. We also host groups for lectures in our office in Jerusalem. We invite people of all backgrounds to explore the dynamics of reconciliation among Palestinians and Israelis.

Musalaha’s Muslim-Christian Young Adults program brought together Palestinian young leaders and their peers from IU Denmark for a Youth Leadership Exchange and mid-term evaluation in Cyprus.
Over the course of the week, participants presented research on how war trauma impacts young adults and how they cope. They also worked together on next steps for their shared leadership journey, and deepened their partnerships through workshops and shared experiences.
Beyond the formal program, there was space to breathe; time exploring Cyprus together, resting, and finding renewal amid all that young Palestinians carry.
The week ended with a renewed commitment to reconciliation, servant leadership, and building a stronger community of young leaders working toward positive change.
