We had the privilege of hosting the Philadelphia cohort of the Wexner program for an in-depth tour showcasing the complex reality of our region, from the deepest heartbreak to action, entrepreneurship, and rebuilding.
The carousel above tells the story of this profound day: starting with local entrepreneurship at Chaim Dimri's patisserie, through the opening of the new Hadassah Medical Center in Netivot, an honest dialogue with residents about our future, and finally, the healing power of food at the Federation's kitchen in Kibbutz Sa'ad alongside Chef Eyal Lavi.
A special, heartfelt thank you to Mira Hagag, mother of the IDF lookout Aviv Hagag (z"l) Aviv hajaj , who was murdered on October 7th, for the powerful and deeply important meeting at the Nahal Oz outpost. It is our absolute duty to listen, remember, and never forget.
